Shine Night Walk
This year I will be #walking 26.2 #miles in the #shine #night #walk in #memory of all those people that we have lost to #cancer and all the survivors that have battled the disease, many of whom I know personally and are very close to my heart. I will be walking in #support of the #rare #cancers and in particular the rare form of #Hodgkin's #lymphoma.
In September 2006 I walked 60km in the fight to beat cancer with absolutely no training and I thought I would challenge myself again now 13 years later and older to help raise as much money as possible to help beat cancer (I will definitely be training this time!). Walking a #marathon in the streets of #London through the #night. Ekk what have I done? As you will know I am not much of an #exercise person so this will be a #huge #challenge.
Each year #Cancer #Research UK’s scientists get closer to beating cancer, and they’ve helped double survival rates in the last 40 years. But we can’t stop there. Only with our continued support can they turn this research into breakthroughs that save millions of lives. Every single #pound you #donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work.
If you can donate anything here is the link to my just giving page :-
Thank you for your support 😀, my training is now in full swing and the realisation is kicking in that 26.2 miles is a long way! Wish me luck.
Love, Sadiah xx
